The Lambak ‘B’ Village Consultative Council held a walkathon and fitness day recently, a recreational activity organised in collaboration with Kampong Lambak Youth Association (PERBEKAL).
Former Village Head of Kampong Lambak ‘B’, Major (Rtd) Haji Mohd Jair bin Haji Abdul Wahab, was the chief guest. The event also saw the presence of Acting Penghulu of Mukim Berakas ‘A’ and Village Head of Kampong Lambak ‘B’ Pengiran Jofri bin Pengiran Haji Zaidi and PERBEKAL President Pengiran Haji Nordin bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud.
The event drew the participation of 70 residents and began with the singing of the national anthem followed with a Doa Selamat after which the event proceeded with a warm-up session before the 1.5-kilometre walk.
The event concluded with a prize presentation for lucky draw winners and presentation of mineral water as alms to Kampong Lambak Mosque Berakas at the residence of Pengiran Jofri. – Lyna Mohamad
