The Brunei Institute of Leadership and Islamic Finance (BILIF) made working visits to the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) and Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in Manama, Bahrain on May 17.
Representing BILIF were its Chief Executive Officer Hajah Sufinah binti Haji Sahat and Acting Senior Manager at the Learning and Development Department Ida Nazrena binti Haji Bujang.
The work visits aimed to explore opportunities for cooperation and collaboration between BILIF and the two organisations in the areas of learning programmes, events and research geared towards increasing human capital development in the area of Islamic finance. Other objective included strengthening working relationships between the organisations.
During the visit to AAOIFI, a memorandum of understanding was signed between BILIF’s Hajah Sufinah, and AAOIFI’s Secretary General Omar Mustafa Ansari.
