The Belait Arabic School (SAB) opened a two-day virtual registration and briefing event as part of its Ta’aruf Week programme yesterday, to allow the students to better understand the school and to ease their transition into a new learning environment.

Thirty-one students, along with their parents and guardians, attended the event.

Principal Hajah Noramalina binti Haji Mohd Ali welcomed the students and briefed them on the day-to-day activities at the school.

The students, comprising nine boys and 22 girls, were introduced to their classes.

The first day saw briefings and specially prepared videos on the school’s curriculum and
teaching staff.

The programme also included an introduction to online learning etiquettes and rules, as well as briefings on growth mindset, school health, and the Basic Arabic and Al-Quran Unit.

With the programme continuing tomorrow, the school hopes the new students will be able to adapt to challenges that arise from learning in the new norm.
