Vietnam’s trade revenue reaches 98pc of estimate in nine months

XINHUA – Vietnam’s state budget revenue from import-export activities increased 17.6 per cent to VND200.2 trillion (USD8.05 billion) in the first nine months of this year, reaching 98.1 per cent of the whole year’s estimate, according to the latest statistics of the General Statistics Office.

Meanwhile, domestic revenue over the months surged 18.9 per cent from the same period of last year to over VND1.2 quadrillion (USD48.3 billion), covering 83.3 per cent of the whole year’s estimate.

Revenue from crude oil was estimated at VND44.4 trillion (USD1.8 billion), down 2.9 per cent year on year.

In total, the country posted a budget collection of nearly VND1.5 quadrillion (USD60.3 billion) from the reporting period, up 17.9 per cent year on year, said the office.

The Vietnamese government’s budget spending during the cited period stood at more than VND1.2 quadrillion, reaching 59.3 per cent of the whole year’s estimate, said the office.
