HANOI (XINHUA) – The Vietnam’s textile and garment sector is expected to generate some USD44 billion in export revenue this year, up more than 10 per cent year-on-year, local media quoted director-general of the Vietnam Textile and Garment Group Cao Huu Hieu as saying.

He said textile and apparel companies had seized the opportunity and secured orders through the end of the first quarter and even into the second quarter of 2025.

The sector has set a target of export revenue of USD47 billion to USD48 billion next year, he added.
