Junior Scouts recently took part in a walkathon and cleaning campaign, organised by the Brunei-Muara District Scout Association in collaboration with the Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque and Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque Takmir Committee. The event also marked the Israk Mikraj celebration while exposing the scouts to historical events in the Islamic calendar, glorifying mosque, promoting a healthy lifestyle and fostering ties with communities.
It began with a warm-up session at the Al-Muhtadee Billah Mosque before heading to Perdana Wangsa Haji Mohammad Mosque where a cleaning campaign was held.
The event concluded with the presentation of certificate of appreciation by the Brunei-Muara District Scout Association to imams and mosque takmir committee members from the two mosques.
