V90s Veteran FT emerged winners of the Football Tournament organised by the 9-a-side ACHM FT Veteran Football Team held at the Sungai Kebun Sports Complex last weekend.
CALA FT finished runners-up while Hawk Veteran Team claimed third place.
Meanwhile, the Best Player award went to Sumardi bin Aidin from the V90s Veteran FT while Md Noor bin Tanjung from CALA FT scooped the Top Scorer award.
Assistant Manager of the Stadium & Sports Complex Darus bin Tanjung presented prizes to the winners.
The day-long meet, which featured sixteen teams, aims to strengthen ties among veteran players and foster the interest of the veterans to play sports in order to always stay healthy. – FADHIL YUNUS
