The Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) religious and spiritual committee recently held a Qiamullail (nightly vigil talk), organised with the help of the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque youth group.

This programme, held both physically and virtually, allowed the UTB family to perform Qiamullail in conjunction with the final 10 nights of Ramadhan.

Participants also attended a talk titled ‘If This Is the Last Ramadhan For Me’ delivered by accredited religious preacher Ahmad Muzhafar bin Haji Marsidi. A familiarisation session was also held among participants.

The event concluded with the recitation of Surah Al-Mulk in groups and Tahajjud prayers.

The religious talk held at the mosque focussed on the secrets of Lailatul Qadar or a night better than 1,000 months.

The talk discussed the reason why Allah the Almighty keeps the night of Lailatul Qadar a secret – for the purpose of ensuring mankind strives diligently in performing multiplied acts of worship in the final 10 nights of Ramadhan.
