Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) celebrated its top lecturers and students in the Excellence Award Ceremony 2023, held in conjunction with the UTB Convocation Ceremony 2023.
Among the awards given out during the event held at the Plenary Hall, International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas, was the Staff Excellence Award (SEA); the Vice-Chancellor’s Award; the University Student Excellence Award; the Outstanding Research Paper Award; the Dean’s List Award; the Co-Curricular Activities or Student Achievement Passport (SAP) Award; and the People’s Choice Award for UTB Project Showcase 2023.
According to UTB, the Staff Excellence Award was introduced in 2015, and celebrated annually to reward the outstanding and meritorious contribution of both academic and non-academic staff to the success of the University in achieving its strategic goals.
Guest of Honour, Minister of Education Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, as Chairperson of UTB Council members presented the Graduate Excellence Awards in various categories to deserving graduates who have successfully completed their studies and excelled in their respective academic programmes.
