NEW YORK (XINHUA) – The US dollar weakened in late trading on Monday.
The dollar index, which measures the greenback against six major peers, lost 0.12 percent to 104.595 at 3pm (1900 GMT).
In late New York trading, the euro was up to USD1.0857 from USD1.0850 in the previous session, and the British pound increased to USD1.2769 from USD1.2738 in the previous session.
The US dollar bought JPY156.87, lower than JPY156.98 of the previous session.
The US dollar dropped to CHF0.9135 from CHF0.9146 Swiss francs, and it lost to CAD1.3632 from CAD1.3663. The US dollar fell to SEK10.6126 from SEK10.6575.
