The Ministry of Health is calling the public to help replenish the supply for Suri Seri Begawan Hospital’s blood bank in Kuala Belait, which is in need of all blood types for renal patients.
The public can go directly to the blood bank from 8am to 11.30am and 1.45pm to 3.30pm during working days.
In light of the shortage, the Blood Donation Centre of the Department of Laboratory Services in collaboration with other agencies will be holding several blood donation campaigns:
The Brunei Rotary Club’s donation drive at NBT Lexus Showroom in Gadong tomorrow from 10am to 3pm, One Mall Management’s event at One Mall on February 13 from 11am to 3pm, Pengiran Anak Puteri Rashidah Sa’adatul Bolkiah Institute of Health Sciences (PAPRSB IHS) at Lobby Area Extension Building PAPRSB IHS on February 15-16 from 9am to 11am and 1.30pm to 3.30pm.
