CMED Enterprise, an established traditional Chinese medicine clinic in Medan Tanjung Bunut, is providing free medical consultations today.
The free consultation, started yesterday, aimed at raising awareness on traditional Chinese medicine to overcome ailments.
Master Yang Jung Ming, who returned to the Sultanate in March after staying in Taiwan for 10 months, said, “I want to help people to achieve a healthier lifestyle with the professional skills and knowledge of traditional Chinese medication that I have learnt.
“Even though Chinese and Western medicine are based on different philosophies, treatment principles and methods are not opposing to one another but should complement each other because they have the same mission, which is to treat patients.
“To allow more people to have access and know more about traditional Chinese medication, I hope to help people who may not be able to get their medical needs due to financial or other reasons.”
Master Yang said CMED not only focuses on the treatment of patients’ symptoms but also hopes to establish the concept that patients take preventive health measures and enhance one’s health.
After the diagnosis, he said, “therapy methods such as acupuncture, blood cupping, and bone alignment are used for treatment, and according to the patient’s condition, medication could be prescribed for body conditioning”. – James Kon
