The Faculty of Arabic Language at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) emerged as champions in the university’s Arabic language debate competition on Saturday.
The runners-up were the Faculty of Islamic Development Management and the Faculty of Syariah and Law. Meanwhile, Nur Nawarrah binti Ewardy was named the best debater. Dean of the Faculty of Arabic Language Dr Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Abdullah presented prizes to the winners.
The competition was aimed at providing a platform for students to sharpen their debating skills while honing their command of Arabic language. – Rokiah Mahmud
