Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) held an International Day, themed ‘Nations Around The World’ at the university yesterday.
The event symbolised global solidarity and unity, honouring the rich tapestry of nations across the world, according to organisers.
The occasion featured booths, international culinary delights and a myriad of activities highlighting global diversity.
UTB international students also showcased their cultures, national costumes, dishes and delicacies.
UTB Vice-Chancellor Datin Paduka Professor Dr Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman was the guest of honour.
United States Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Caryn Roberta McClelland; Vietnam Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Tran Anh Vu; Canadian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Ambra Dickie and representatives of foreign missions in Brunei Darussalam were also in attendance, including those from Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Laos, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, Turkiye and the United Kingdom.
