Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) through the Surau and Religious Unit, Student Affairs Office held a Maulidur Rasul to mark the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
UNISSA Acting Rector Dr Hajah Lilly Suzana binti Haji Shamsu, assistant chancellors, principal officers, academics, officers, staff and students attended.
The forum ‘Sunnah Dihayati, Hidup Diberkati’ was led by Year 5 student Mohammad Norhadi Yussof @ Yusreen bin Abdullah from the Faculty of Syariah and Law and Year 2 student Muhammad Dzulkhairi bin Haji Ibrahim from the Usuluddin Faculty. The forum highlighted that Muslims are required to follow the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in all aspects of life and the morals of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) should be applied in their daily lives.
The event also aimed for individuals to take lesson from the services of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) as a leader and also an educator in spreading Islam. – Azlan Othman
