The Faculty of Islamic Economics and Finance (FEKIm) at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) signed a letter of intent with the Labuan Faculty of International Finance (FKAL), Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) recently.
The signing will pave the way for joint undergraduate programmes, joint research and publication, community outreach and student empowerment initiatives.
FEKIm was represented by its dean, Dr Muhammad Zaki bin Haji Zaini, while the FKAL was represented by Associate Professor Dr Geoffrey Harvey Tanakinjal.
FEKIm Deputy Dean Dr Amnisuhailah binti AbArahan, and Deputy Dean (Academic and International) of FKAL Dr Ricky Chia Chee Jiun witnessed the signing.
The collaboration aims to generate collaborative endeavours and serves as one of UNISSA’s initiatives towards becoming a global Islamic higher education institution. – Rokiah Mahmud
