The Centre for Graduate Studies, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) held a Dissolution Ceremony for UNISSA Graduate Student Council Members 2021 and an Appointment Ceremony for UNISSA Graduate Student Representative Council Members 2022 at The Garden’s Veranda on July 14, 2022.
UNISSA Acting Rector Dr Arman bin Haji Asmad as the guest of honour presented certificates of appreciation to five of the Graduate Student Representative Council Members 2021, and letters of appointment to five of the Graduate Student Representative Council Members 2022.
The objective of the ceremony was to dissolve the 2021 Graduate Student Representative Council and to announce the appointment of new members of the Graduate Student Representative Council 2022 chosen by an elected committee.
The representative council delegates and the selection committee members help graduate students at UNISSA.
The representative council and selection committee also provide an opportunity for graduate students to display their leadership during their research and studies.
Also present were the Centre for Graduate Studies Acting Director Dr Azme bin Haji Matali in his capacity as the Chairman.
