Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) held Ilal Hijrah 1445 celebration at its surau recently, and among the attendees was Rector Dr Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal.
The ceremony began with a tazkirah on ‘Ugama Dipelihara, Negara Sejahtera’ by Dato’ Dr Mohd Fakruudin bin Abdul Mukti.
The ceremony was held to commemorate the journey of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) from Makkah Al-Mukarramah to Madinah Al-Munawwarah and serve as a platform to motivate staff and students to take as an example the Prophet’s journey. – Rokiah Mahmud
