Underprivileged students receive school supplies

The Brunei History Centre donated school supplies to 26 underprivileged children to aid their preperation for the 2024 academic year.

The donation made under the Bersama Mengelinga charity project was a collaboration with the Brunei Council on Social Welfare (MKM).

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Culture) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dr Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah presented the donation.

The project aimed at strengthening unity in the community as well as shaping a more caring society.

The project was funded by contributions from the public collected through MKM activities from December 5-17. – Rokiah Mahmud
