Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) held a ceremony yesterday to mark the appointment of UBD Students’ Association’s (PMUBD) new Student Representative Council (MPP) for 2024/2025 session.
The ceremony also saw the official dissolution of the MPP 2023/2024 session at the Chancellor Hall.
UBD Assistant Vice-Chancellor (University Life and Governance) Hajah Maudena binti Haji Abd Hamid officiated the ceremony. The Dean of Students Dr Mursidi bin Haji Ali, in his welcoming address, thanked the former MPP and acknowledged their services and contribution they made towards the development of PMUBD.
The assistant vice-chancellor presented certificates of appreciation to the former MPP and introduced the new representatives, who received their official appointment letters and took the Student Council oath. The ceremony followed with a speech from the new MPP President Muhammad Zulkhairi Jifli Jainuddin.
