Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) held a ceremony yesterday to mark the change of leadership of the UBD Students Association (PMUBD), new Student Representative Council (MPP) for 2023/2024 session.
The ceremony held at the Senate Room of the Chancellor Hall also saw the official dissolution of the MPP 2021/2022 session.
UBD Acting Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Corporate and Administration) Pengiran Dr Mohammad Iskandar bin Pengiran Haji Petra officiated the ceremony.
Dean of Students Saidai bin Haji Hitam thanked the former MPP and acknowledged the services, contribution and sacrifices they had made towards the development and realisation of PMUBD’s vision and mission.
The former MPP members were presented with certificates of appreciation.
Following the official introduction and presentation of appointment letters to the new MPP members and taking their oath, new President Muhammad Hanan Falhan bin Haji Muhammad Dzulfan, a second-year student from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, delivered a speech. – Adib Noor
