TEDx is a programme of local, self-organised events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
It brings people together to share ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’ from three disciplines – technology, entertainment and design. These ideas are shared for a maximum of 18 minutes.
TED is a non-profit organisation devoted to ‘Ideas Worth Spreading’, often in the form of short talks delivered by leading thinkers and doers. Since its inception, TED conferences have featured the likes of Bill Gates, Jane Goodall and Quincy Jones, who have spoken alongside athletes and grassroots musicians.
