UBD C3L Open Day promotes lifelong learning

The Centre for Lifelong Learning (C3L) at Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) officially kicked off its C3L Open Day and Lifelong Learning Festival at the university’s ILIA building yesterday.

UBD Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research) Associate Professor Dr Abby Tan Chee Hong was the guest of honour at the event officiated by C3L Director Associate Professor Dr Jose Hernandez Santos and Deputy Director Dr Anni @ Nik Ani Afiqah binti Haji Mohamad Tuah.

The one-day event aimed to provide a vibrant platform for individuals to explore learning opportunities by offering networking and knowledge with professionals at the event.

Participants also got to explore innovative training solutions presented by exhibitors and attend talks centred on themes such as lifelong learning, digital technology and generative artificial intelligence.

The event closed with a prize presentation ceremony.

In a special tribute to the graduates and alumni of the C3L, the event saw the unveiling of a dedicated ‘Portraits of Triumph’ wall, which honours the achievements of alumni, and serves as an inspiration for current and future students. – Fadley Faisal
