UPI – An island in the United Arab Emirates achieved a remarkable feat by setting a new Guinness World Record through an assembly of 1,100 messages inside bottles.
Officials from Saadiyat Island Abu Dhabi extended an invitation to guests staying in diverse island hotels, urging them to pen heartfelt messages, expressing their love for the island or the broader theme of affection. These heartwarming notes were subsequently placed inside bottles and meticulously arranged along the island’s beach to form the message “I (heart) Saadiyat Island”.
The resulting installation was awarded the Guinness World Record for the largest display of messages in bottles.
Organisers said the stunt was inspired by the Pont des Arts bridge in Paris.
