(ANN/KOREA HERALD) – Tomorrow X Together’s seventh EP, The Star Chapter: Sanctuary, achieved over 1.2 million sales on its release day, according to a report from their label Big Hit Music on Tuesday. This milestone marks the group’s fourth album to surpass a million copies sold within the first 24 hours, following the success of their fifth EP The Name Chapter: Temptation, third studio album The Name Chapter: Freefall, and sixth EP minisode 3: Tomorrow.
The EP also marks their fifth consecutive album to reach one million in first-week sales, joining minisode 2: Thursday’s Child in their record-breaking streak.
Released on Monday, The Star Chapter: Sanctuary quickly climbed to the top of iTunes’ Top Albums Chart in 25 regions. All six tracks made it onto Melon’s Top 100, while the music video for its focus track, Over The Moon, garnered an impressive 10 million views on YouTube within 10 hours of its premiere.
