Two local bodybuilders find strength in camaraderie

Two local fitness trainers, Muhammad Amzar bin Haji Azamain and Mohamad Yazid bin Mohamad Taib recently won several bodybuilding sports categories at the FIF (Fitness International Federation) Multinational Mortal Battle Pro/ Am 2022, in Malaysia.

Muhammad Amzar, 37, emerged as champion in the Classic Physique category, second place for Mens Physique, and third place for the Champion of Champion Classic.

Meanwhile, Mohamad Yazid, 30, who succeeded Champion for two categories Men’s Sports Model Overall and Men’s Sports Model 170cm Below as well as Third Place for Men’s Physique 170cm Below,

Muhammad Amzar said throughout the 18 weeks of training together, the two bodybuilders provided each other strong support, shared knowledge about nutrition and fitness training, and examined each other’s strengths and weaknesses. “We improved what was necessary,” he said.

Mohamad Yazid said, “During my training with Muhammad Amzar, we helped each other a lot in maximising muscle growth and formation while maintaining our health.

“Besides focussing on important aspects such as discipline, we also looked at ethics and consistency in building body composition and the tournament itself.”

The two bodybuilders also urge the importance of working together and maintaining camaraderie among bodybuilders and other institutions to achieve a success.

Both Muhammad Amzar and Mohamad Yazid also gained Professional Card in their categories.

This qualified them to participate in future competitions alongside other international and elite athletes and ultimately build a career as professional bodybuilder.
