Four foreign workers were questioned by Immigration and National Registration Department personnel at the Kampong Panaga housing construction project site in Seria, where two were ordered to report to the department.
Two of the foreigners violated Chapter 17 of the Regulations 15 (2) for not working with the legitimate employer.
Their employers were also ordered to report to the department for further investigation. The operation was led by a senior immigration officer and two personnel.
Employers are reminded to comply and not violate Immigration Act and Regulations and ensure that their employees do the work as designated.
