Two foreign workers were nabbed by immigration officials for not working in positions listed in their passports as well as not working for their original employer.
The workers were caught during an operation in the parking area in Mukim Kianggeh. The two foreign nationals were arrested by authorities for further investigation.
The Immigration and National Registration Department reminded employers to ensure that their workers’ passports are always valid as well as ensure they are also working in authorised positions. – Azlan Othman
