Two companies were recently fined BND1,000 each by the Law Enforcement Unit of the Tutong District Office for illegally disposing of rubbish in public areas, a violation under Chapter 30 of the Miscellaneous Offences Act 2021.
The companies have been given seven days to settle the fine. Failure to do so will result in the case being brought to court.
