Residents of Kampong Menengah and Kampong Bukit Sulang relaxed over activities during a family day organised by grassroots communities at Kampong Menengah Primary School in the Tutong District yesterday, in conjunction with World Mental Health Day.
The villagers took part in an aerobic session, walkathon and recreational competitions.
Organisers hoped that the day encouraged a healthy lifestyle among the villagers, while fostering cooperation and respect among one another.
Yesterday’s event also saw the presentation of gifts for outstanding students of the recent PSR examinations.
Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri was the guest of honour.
