Tutong roadblocks net 19 traffic violations

Three separate roadblocks netted 19 traffic violations in the Tutong District on Saturday, according to the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF).

RBPF said the violations included vehicle unsuitable for the road due to safety issues, such as a tyre outside of the mudguard and faulty vehicle lights.

A total of 51 officers and personnel were involved in the operations comprising of Tutong Police District headquarters, Lamunin Police Station and Narcotics Control Bureau. The operations were led by Tutong Police District Criminal Investigation Officer ASP Pengiran Haji Mohamad Syahmi Azra bin Pengiran Haji Rajid.

The aim of the operations was to ensure road users comply with the Road Traffic Act.
