The Information Department at the Prime Minister’s Office organised an event to disseminate information, government policies and receive feedback from Tutong District’s RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang (Area 3) residents recently.
Senior Information Officer Haji Fathi Foad bin Dato Seri Setia Haji Abu Bakar led the team from the Information Department.
Representatives from the Department of Electrical Services, Public Works Department, Water Services Department, Housing Development Department and DST Network Sdn Bhd (DSTN) were also present.
Among the information delivered included token identifier (TID) rollover and unified smart metering system (USMS). DSTN highlighted the benefits of USMS where users can monitor and control usage.
Haji Fathi Foad highlighted the Information Department’s role to convey information using various channels including dialogue sessions and Pelita Brunei.
RPN Kampong Bukit Beruang (Area 3) Village Head Azman bin Haji Ismail welcomed the programme and added that it allowed exchanges of ideas and thoughts to ensure the well-being and help the progress of the village and the Sultanate. He hoped more dialogue sessions will be held regularly. – Azlan Othman
