Tutong residents called to vote for village heads

Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri called on villagers in Kampong Birau and Kampong Kebia as well as Kampong Bukit Panggal and Kampong Luagan Dudok to vote in the upcoming village head elections.

The election for the village head of Kampong Birau and Kampong Kebia through paper voting will take place on October 29 at Kampong Birau Primary School, Mukim Kiudang from 8am to 11am.

Voting through the E-Undi PMKK app will start on October 27 at 8am and conclude on October 29 at 11am.

The registration for voting through E-Undi PMKK app can be done until October 26.

The sole candidate for the election is Masburah bin Haji Suhaile.

Meanwhile, the election for the village head of Kampong Bukit Panggal and Kampong Luagan Dudok through paper voting will be held at Kampong Luagan Dudok community centre in Mukim Keriam on November 5 from 8am to 11am.

Voting through the E-Undi PMKK app will run from November 3 at 8am to November 5 at 11am.

The registration process for voting through E-Undi PMKK app is open until November 2 at 8am.

The sole candidate is Mohammad Dandarawi bin Haji Nasar.

According to the Tutong District Office, 352 individuals in Kampong Birau and Kampong Kebia and 113 individuals in Kampong Bukit Panggal and Kampong Luagan Dudok have registered to vote.

Additionally, there are 999 individuals in Kampong Birau and Kampong Kebia and 1,223 individuals in Kampong Bukit Panggal and Kampong Luagan Dudok who are eligible to vote. – James Kon
