A full dress rehearsal to ensure the smooth sailing of Tutong District get-together ceremony with His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam in conjunction with the monarch’s 76th birthday celebration was held yesterday on the field of Tutong District Civic Centre Complex.
Minister of Home Affairs Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman in his capacity as Chairman of the National Committee for His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration oversaw the rehearsal.
The event on Tuesday will feature a special performance, themed ‘Raja Untuk Rakyat dan Rakyat Untuk Raja’.
The public wishing to attend the get-together must abide by the standard operating procedures including screening for COVID-19 and uploading the results on the BruHealth app or take a photo of the ART kit with name, day, date and time. Only those testing negative are allowed entry.
Individuals with flu-like symptoms are advised not to attend the get-together.
