A trailer truck’s tyre burst into flame at Lumut-Liang Bypass last Saturday night. No injuries were reported.
DSO Muhd Sadiy bin Abdullah Tujoh led a team of nine firefighters to respond to the incident.
They arrived to find the back left tyre on fire and a jet hose was used to extinguish it. The fire was put out in two minutes.
The Fire and Rescue Department advised the public to make sure their vehicles are safe for use with no leakages.
