Boustead Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor of Volvo in Brunei, conducted a training course for Aziz Latif & Co truck drivers at Serambangun, Tutong District yesterday.
The training, with theory and practical components, was aimed at improving the attendees’ driving skills, knowledge of the vehicles, basic check routine and sharing of best practices.
Boustead Commercial Division General Manager Alex Yong said driver training and development are important parts of the logistic supply chain often overlooked.
“Trucking industry is important to the economy and everything from food to shelters were transported by trucks,” said Yong, adding that skilled drivers ensure safe deliveries. – Adib Noor
