Towards a greener tomorrow

Forty-eight saplings were planted at the Tungku Primary School under the Environmental Education Tour Project yesterday, attended by school staff.

After the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and a speech by Headmaster Dzulbaharin bin Haji Sulaiman, Legislative Council member cum Green Brunei co-founder Yang Berhormat Khairunnisa binti Haji Ash’ari presented the saplings to the headmaster.

Brunei-Muara Scouts Association member Skip Haji Majid bin Tengah also participated.

Mitsubishi Corporation contributed the saplings of 20 decorative, eight jackfruit, 10 durian and 10 petai trees.
