The Tourism Development Department in collaboration with Kampong Telisai Village Consultative Council (MPK) organised a cleaning and recreational campaign at Tumpuan Telisai Recreational Park recently.
The event was aimed at supporting the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports’ Day of Action campaign as well as foster closer ties among the department’s employees and Kampong Telisai residents.
Kampong Telisai Village Head Sofian bin Haji Mohd Yusof with 10 MPK Telisai members joined the campaign with 30 officers and staff from the Tourism Development Department.
Department officials also handed over basic necessities to underprivileged families in Kampong Telisai. – James Kon
