Sabre Travel Network (Brunei) hosted an appreciation event on December 3 to recognise top travel agents in Brunei Darussalam.
The event also celebrated Sabre Brunei’s seventh anniversary with customers and partners across the travel industry.
Held at Peak Performance Poolside, the event was attended by over 140 guests from travel agencies, airlines, and national tourism offices, including Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Baiduri Bank, Cityneon Brunei and Malaysia Tourism Promotion Board.
“This event has always been highly anticipated by the industry, bringing together players from across the travel ecosystem together,” said Sabre Travel Network Brunei Acting General Manager Abdul Halim bin Haji Abdul Rahman.
“It also serves as a great opportunity for the industry players to come together to celebrate the achievements of their peers, and for us to appreciate our partners for their immense support,” he added.
Sabre Travel Network Brunei Director Ida Marsita Haji Hidup, the guest of honour presented the Top Travel Agent awards to 10 travel agencies from Brunei.
Pan Bright Travel Service Sdn Bhd, Kuala Belait took first place, while Southern Cross Travel Agencies Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan (BSB) and Pan Bright Travel Service Sdn Bhd, BSB were placed second and third.
Freme Travel Services Sdn Bhd, BSB was in fourth place followed by Anthony Tours & Travel Agency Sdn Bhd, BSB in fifth place and Century Travel Centre Sdn Bhd, BSB in sixth place.
In seventh place was Straits Central Agencies (B) Sdn Bhd with Darussalam Holdings Sdn Bhd in eighth place.
Rounding up the list were Freme Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Kuala Belait in ninth place and JJ Tour Service (B) Sdn Bhd in 10th place.
The annual Sabre Appreciation Night is organised to acknowledge key travel industry partners for their contributions to Sabre’s success in Brunei.
