Brunei’s top travel agents were announced during the third Annual Sabre Brunei Appreciation Night at Tarindak D’Seni on November 30.
It was organised to celebrate the commitment of current and new customers, and to thank key travel industry partners for contributing to Sabre’s continued success in Brunei.
The event was attended by around 190 representatives from various travel agencies, airlines, and national tourism office, including Royal Brunei Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Baiduri Bank and Tourism Malaysia.
Sabre Travel Network (Brunei) Sdn Bhd Chairman Captain Sabirin bin Haji Abdul Hamid, the guest of honour, presented the coveted Top Travel Agent Awards to 10 travel agencies from Brunei, with Pan Bright Travel Service Sdn Bhd, Kuala Belait in first place; Freme Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan in second; Pan Bright Travel Service, Bandar Seri Begawan in third; and Darussalam Services Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan in fourth.
Meanwhile JJ Tour Service (B) Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan was placed fifth; Southern Cross Travel Agencies Sdn Bhd, Manggis in sixth place; Southern Cross Travel Agencies, Bandar Seri Begawan in seventh; Syarikat Straits Central Agencies (B) Sdn Bhd in eighth; Anthony Tours and Travel Agency Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan in ninth; and Freme Travel Services, Seria in 10th place.
Travel agencies who recorded the highest growth of FIT segment bookings based on fiscal year 2023-2024, versus 2022-2023, also received awards with Balurih Travel Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan in first place, followed by Dar El Ehsan Travel Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan and Mas Sugara Travel Services Sdn Bhd, Bandar Seri Begawan in second and third place.
