Some 83 students from Sekolah Menengah Sayyidina Ali (SMSA) received awards during the school’s annual Best Students Awards (BSA) ceremony at its multi-purpose hall recently.
Principal Masdiana binti Haji Abdul Samat, the guest of honour, said the awards ceremony commemorates the students academic and co-curricular achievements over the past years.
She also congratulated the award recipients and the students who received 100 per cent attendance.
The ceremony also saw seven teachers and two school staff members receiving awards for outstanding dedication and contribution. The principal encouraged the students to keep up their hard work and strive to become individuals who contribute to the nation. She also expressed gratitude to the teachers and staff for their dedication in educating the younger generation.
“Together, let us move towards Brunei Vision 2035 to build a highly educated, skilled, and successful population,” said the principal.
The ceremony proceeded with the presentation of awards to the recipients.
The event also saw dance and gulintangan performances by the students.
