The Information Department of the Prime Minister’s Office through its Nationhood Unit of the Strategic Communication Division organised a ‘Our Monarch, Appreciating the National Flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’ briefing to 173 Year 7 students yesterday at the Salambigar Hall, Sharif Ali Secondary School.
The school’s operation manager Azamain bin Abdul Rahim and teaching staff were also in attendance.
Delivering the briefing was head of the Nationhood Unit Head Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris.
The programme is one of the continuous efforts to cultivate love towards the monarch and
the nation.
Topics included the monarch, procedures in hoisting the national flag and the history of the national anthem. Students also received prize for correctly answering to the nationhood quiz.
