TK Tea House basketball team on Sunday night grabbed a crucial 95-86 win against Easyway basketball team in the Group ‘A’ encounter of You-C1000 Basketball Cup 2023.
TK Tea House had five players finishing the game with double digits point and leading the scoring was captain Elvin Requintin who contributed 24 points while Kok Yee Hung had 17 points and Gary Antonio, Aristeo Fullado and Brendon Lim each had 11 points. TK Tea House strong man was fouled out during the game.
Easyway basketball team had four players fouled out in the match up – Fariq, Kae Chong, Ong Jian An and Jayden Chen. Jake Chong had an impressive scoring night contributing 25 points while Captain Jeremy Chu had 17 points.
Both teams only lost one match in the group stage.
TK Tea House will next meet Medix team tomorrow at 7pm while EasyWay will tip off against Fuzhou Shiyyi Association on July 1 at 8.30pm. – James Kon
