A Master of Ceremony Workshop was organised by the Arts and Culture Unit, Student Representative Council of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) as part of the UNISSA Career Expo Activity in conjunction with the UNISSA’s 12th Mahrajan Hafl Al-Takharruj at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas on Thursday.
Thirty participants comprising students from Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Politeknik Brunei and UNISSA Faculty Student Bodies, as well as UNISSA uniformed associations participated. On its final day, participants were introduced to the importance of a floor manager, and the use of language art and voice rhythm appropriate to be used according to the event being conducted.
The facilitator also taught participants on restoring a situation in case of mistakes happen when organising a ceremony.
Participants were able to practise their event-hosting knowledge by conducting the workshop closing ceremony. Muhammad Nazirul Azizan bin Bahren was selected as the master of ceremonies.
UNISSA Head of Office of Career Advancement and Industrial Networking Norasiah binti Haji Amai was the guest of honour.
The workshop concluded with a presentation of certificates to the facilitator and participants.
