The annual Korean Festival organised by the Embassy of Korea in Brunei Darussalam will be held from September 1 – 3.
Consul at the Korean Embassy Jung Minyoung shared this during a media luncheon yesterday.
The three-day event will kick off with the 3rd Korean Ambassador Cup Brunei Darussalam Taewondo Championship at Sungai Kebun Sports Complex.
The festival’s opening ceremony will be held at Times Square Shopping Centre in Berakas.
This year’s festival will feature K-pop performances, K-food cooking, Korean traditional games and quizzes on Korea as well as booths showcasing traditional Hanbok dress-up, Hangul name writing and traditional mask painting for children.
K-pop performances include a special appearance from ARTGEE, a Korean street dance group with 10 years of globally recognised performances, who will give a glimpse of traditional Korean culture and K-pop. – Lyna Mohamad
