A family in Kampong Tagap in Sengkurong were shocked when three unidentified masked men were allegedly trying to break into their house in broad daylight on Wednesday morning.
According to the house owner Sofian, the trio were allegedly equipped with a parang and two sticks.
“Upon noticing a dark SUV vehicle outside the house, my three kids did not open the door and the intruders left the place. No items were stolen and I am grateful that no untoward incidents happened,” he said.
Sofian lodged a police report on Wednesday at Sengkurong Police Station.
The Royal Brunei Police Force’s Public Relations Office confirmed receiving the report and said that the incident is currently under investigation. – Azlan Othman
