Their Majesties leave Malaysia after state visit

His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha binti Al-Marhum Pengiran Pemancha Pengiran Anak Haji Mohamed Alam yesterday left Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, after a state visit and attending the 24th Annual Leaders’ Consultation.

Accompanying Their Majesties was Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna, Ambassador at-Large at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Prior to departure, a Doa Selamat was recited by State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned.

Present at the Subang Air Base to bid farewell to Their Majesties were Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office as Minister in Attendance Senator Dato’ Setia Dr Haji Mohd Na’im bin Haji Mokhtar and spouse; and High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam Dato’ Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah and spouse. High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia Brigadier General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin @ Haji Md Saidin and spouse were also present.

Prior to boarding, His Majesty walked past a Static Guard of Honour mounted by the members of the Royal Malay Regiment of the Malaysian Army.

During the visit, Their Majesties made a courtesy call with His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the 16th Yang di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia and Her Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda the Raja Permaisuri Agong; and had a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim for the 24th Annual Leaders’ Consultation where a treaty and two memoranda of understanding between His Majesty’s government and the Malaysian government were signed.
