Festival Director Mohd Syazni bin Haji Abu Bakar said, “NTFB is a growing festival celebrating the development of performing arts in Brunei.”

This year features nine local performing arts groups – 247 Studios, Akademi Panggung Sri Utama, BruHaHa Comedy, Putra Seni Group, Lakap Lagor Entertainment, RAKIS UBD, Studio Elevé, The Elisha Tiga Eksperiment, and Relentless Entertainment and Performing Arts Academy.

Some 75 talents are lined up and ready to bring 16 performances and six workshops to the public.

Themed ’Our Story, Unfolded’, performances revolve around growth. Meanwhile, workshops provide the public an opportunity to learn the craft of theatre and the performing arts, whether physical or instrumental.

This year, NTFB offers ‘Festival Tickets’, where one ticket will grant access to watch each original performance.

NTFB is also collaborating with Brunei Council on Social Welfare to bring the joy of theatre to underprivileged communities and broaden the community. – Adib Noor
