The ultimate executive choice

Equipped with cutting-edge technology and featuring a sublime design, the highly-anticipated, all new Mercedes-Benz E-Class was unveiled to the public at Jati Transport Autohaus in Beribi yesterday.

The new E-Class is an ambassador of two worlds: it remains the most advanced business saloon and is also the link in traditional drives and trend-setting in technology, design and equipment.

The new E-Class innovations provide the ultimate entertainment experience for its occupants.

Inside, the striking MBUX Superscreen supplements the 14.4-inch central display with a 12.3-inch touchscreen in the front passenger area. A continuous glass surface connects the two screens, extending from the centre console across almost the entire width of the instrument panel.

The LCD display gives front passengers access to numerous apps and vehicle functions, such as accessing social networks. The visual shield function prevents driver’s distraction, blocking the screen’s content from the driver’s side.

Another new feature is the Active Ambient Lighting light strip illuminating the front section of the instrument panel. The light strip runs in a wide arc from the windscreen, past the A-pillars and into the doors, creating a spacious feeling in the way the door panels merge with the collar of the instrument panel to form a single unit.

A seemingly free-floating control array in the upper section of the door panels matches the look of the glass surfaces of the screens.

The vehicle also communicates with occupants via the ambient lighting, with flowing light animations providing an additional layer of information. They visualise the various vehicle functions, whether driving assistance systems, music or the MBUX voice assistant.

Occupants can also capture precious memories or join video conferences with the first-ever integrated selfie and video camera on the instrument panel covering both the driver and front passenger sides.

Audio lovers know that it is hard to experience music more intensely than in a Mercedes-Benz. The sound systems in the E-Class also meet the highest standards. In addition to the standard sound system, you can choose the impressive Burmester® 4D surround sound system.

With 17 speakers, four body sound transducers (so-called exciters) and 730 watts of system power, passengers enjoy a unique 4D sound experience – with Dolby Atmos® technology, it creates more spatial awareness, clarity and depth.

Thanks to the 3D speakers in the headliner, 360-degree sound experience in all seats goes beyond the possibilities of mono and stereo systems.

The new E-Class saloon appeals to brand-conscious executives who have high expectations of both themselves and their vehicle: they value professionalism and sustainability, quality of life, connectivity and comfort.

The E-Class combines intelligent technology and classic elegance with prestige and sportiness.

The front of the saloon is symbolic of this: a black panel element forms a transition to the EQ vehicles. It combines the radiator grille with the high-tech headlamps – tradition meets modernity.

With a wider track and vehicle width, the E-Class exudes even more self-assurance yet maintains its suitability for everyday use.

First-class craftsmanship is just as important to them as outstanding and stylish design. They associate the Mercedes-Benz brand, and the E-Class in particular, with prestige in a long-standing tradition on many of the aspects.

The new E-Class was also delivered to one of Jati Transport Autohaus’ loyal customers Anil Kumar Thoompail Sundhakran yesterday.
