Baiduri Bank

Baiduri Bank management committee member Chris Ang said by listening to and understanding the needs of the differently-abled people, we can learn to serve the community better and be more inclusive.

Chris said this during Baiduri Bank’s annual ‘Let’s Give Back This Ramadhan’ initiative, which saw more than 10 Tutong-based families identified by the Council for the Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities (MKOKU) being treated to an afternoon of shopping at Hua Ho Petani Mall and iftar yesterday. The bank continued its partnership with Setia Motors, with Indera Motors joining as an additional logistics partner to assist in transporting families from their homes to the venues and back.

Setia Motors human resource manager Ramli bin Ahad said, “This is our second year of being involved in this initiative and it’s an event all our staff look forward to, as it is a blessing to be able to give back and be of service to our community.”

The bank’s group risk head Jonathan Lim, internal audit head Stephen Nelson and group compliance head Wan Ahadiatul Wan Silmy were also present.
